OK-- Just have to say way to go Team USA!! The swim team to be precise!! That was FANTASTIC!!!! Phelps was too much fun to watch after the US " SMASHED" the Frenchies.
That was cool. I love the Olympics!!!!

Ladies of the 8o's

My friends and I threw a surprise party for our other friend, Megan. She always wanted an 80's party, so that's what we did! It was so fun to put on that pink lipstick once again and to wear those lovely clothes! Seriously..... what were any of us thinking then???

REAL-- Salt Lake

My friend gave me this card when I was recovering from surgery this summer. I love what it says! I realized today again just how trying life can be at times, but we can get through it with the help of friends and family. Many people that I am close to and including myself are going through some rough times right now. It seems as if this past year has brought many, many great times and also many trying times. I need to remember that I have that bull dog on my side and to keep on truckin!

Sophie's Birthday

Sophie had a fun eighth birthday! She celebrated at her Great Grandma's house and then also at the Lion House. Both parties were lots of fun. The Lion House is such a fun eight year old party. They play pioneer games, have a small meal, cake and ice cream and get a tour of the Lion House. They also pull taffy and get to take home a beautiful porcelin doll. It is a great party!!

Today was Sophie's baptism. It was a really special day. The program was really neat with both of her Grandpa's giving talks, a beautiful piano piece by her piano teacher and Sophie and 2 of her cousins sang while her grandpa played the guitar. It was such a memorable day spent with all of our favorite people. A special quilt was presented to her by Nana and she was given lots of sweet presents from everyone. We had a great day! A very heart felt thankyou goes to Nicole for putting together an awesome slide show. THANKS to all of you for your love and support! We have the best family and friends!
